Description

This 1902 Great Britain Shilling was struck during the reign of King Edward VII and represents the first year of his circulating silver coinage. The obverse features the distinctive right-facing portrait of Edward VII, surrounded by the Latin royal inscription, while the reverse carries the classic crowned lion standing upon the Imperial Crown, a design closely associated with British shillings of the period.

Struck in silver, this impressive example has been independently certified by PCGS and awarded the high grade of MS65. The coin retains excellent detail throughout, with strong definition to the portrait and design elements, complemented by attractive original lustre and natural toning across the surfaces.
